UPDATE: After 3 hrs at the drs office Kinsleys throat is red but strep was negative which was cultured we will have results on Friday. Kinsley had blood drawn normal white blood cell count is 5000-10,000 hers is almost 40,000, they put a urine catch on her to check for uti but she wouldnt tee tee so they ended up doing a in and out cath which took 15 mins of holding her down while she screamed until they finally got it in. UA showed a uti but was sent off for culture to see how bad and will have results Friday. The Dr wanted Kins to have a rocephin injection (antibiotic)and said the nurse would be right in 30 mins later no nurse and halls are quiet and clear...nurses went to lunch then I complain and finally get a nurse who gives it to her then we wait 15 more mins for them to check the injection site. So in conclusion we will be back at the office in the morning to get another cbc if it looks worse or not alot better Kins will be spending her 1st bday in the hospital with a possible kidney infection believed to be caused by urinary reflux a condition she was born with Her older sister Kayleigh now 7 had it and finally came off meds last year after it corrected itself. It has been an emotionally exhausting day and i hope tomorrow is better...after finally getting her delayed lunch at 2 in the afternoon and no nap Kinsley is passed out...what a day!
