UPDATE As you know, weve secured a prime location at the upcoming Gold Country Fair to set up a table promoting our all-class reunion. Its near the High St entrance. They normally charge $350 for this spot but CEO and Placer alumnus Laurie (Evers) Johnson is providing this to us free of charge. We need volunteers to staff the table . Were thinking of 2 hour time slots. If some would like to take more shifts that would be great. Fair admission is free to volunteers. We will be given 10 badges for free admission. As one or two people are leaving their shift, they hand off to the next. I realize there will need to be some coordination as far as the first and last shift but we’ll have 10 total badges to play with. That’s a $10 entrance fee value as I’m sure most will enjoy the fair after their shift. If it’s a late shift I think badge transfer can be arranged so that they can enjoy the fair prior to the shift. Coordination is the key here. If someone has a table and two chairs to lend to us for this event it would be much appreciated. If a third person wants to join a shift theyll have to bring their own chair. THE CAVEAT IS WE MUST HAVE ALL SHIFTS FILLED FOR ALL 4 DAYS AS ITS A REQUIREMENT THAT OUR TABLE BE STAFFED AT ALL TIMES. We must have shifts filled by this Tuesday or well have to pass on this opportunity altogether. I have attached a Word doc displaying which shifts have been taken so far.
