UPDATE FROM GWINN & ROWDY’S MAMA: 1-12-2015 Today’s visit went very – very well. The kennel owner was with us the whole time this visit – but, next week – we will spend part of our time alone. After exploring, might I say, with extreme caution, they settled down and relaxed a bit, but any sudden moves, they were up, on high alert. Gwinn follows whatever Rowdy does, if he does something, then it must be “ok”. They had treats, spent time in the yard, got acquainted with the doggie door. They were a little frightened when the heater kicked on, but after a few times – they were ok with that too. We watched “The Talk” (lol), I wanted them to get use to the television sound. Gwinn’s favorite was lying in front of the window, looking out. They don’t get that. They get to go outside, but they never see it from the inside – out. We turned off all the noise, so they could experience “quiet” for the first time, ever. They started to fall asleep, my precious babies, have so much to learn and they will. Little steps to success. I will be visiting them at the kennel, this weekend and they will be coming to visit their home again, on Tuesday. As promised, I will keep you all updated.
