UPDATE!!! I am always flattered each time I go out and finds my self in the midst of people most especially my age mates whom have as well distinguished themselves in every sphere of human endevours but yet, they still accords you with high level of respect and honour simple because you are a lawyer,they believe as a learned gentile man,you know everything and you can provide an efficacy to a conundrum that they presumed cannot be solved by an ordinaryperson like them. However,this notion about lawyers keeps motivating me to work hard so as to keep the standard of this noble profession. After being called to the Nigerian bar few years ago,I have learned certain things and I have tried my possible best to impart on the society what they ought to know as good responsible citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I dont know it all,just as my late learned brother Lord Denning once said that God forbid that lawyers knows all the law but must know where to find the lawA lawyer is just an ordinary person with equal opportunity/right with its fellow citizens in a given society but extraordinarily much regard is extended to him when it matters most and that is why we are regarded as learned gentilemen.Societies without lawyers,such societies is doomed,because society cannot exist without lawyers and even in the court,without bar,there wont be bench. I am much thrilled to be a member of this phalanx of brotherhoods,indeed i am proud to be a lawyer!!
