UPDATE: I spoke to my mother today. She called me from the detention center and i heard her cry for the first time. I could hear her struggling to hold back the tears but she let it out. So I listened and let her vent. Her colitis is getting worse especially because ICE withheld her medications for three days. She also cried bc she misses us greatly. While crying, she sends a message to you all. Thank you for all your support and please keep praying and supporting us in here Shes in there with 20 other mothers from Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador. It will be a week since my mother was detained. Its been very hard on my younger brother Gustavo. He spoke to my mother over the phone for the first time today since her detention and he cried as well. Its been rough. She doesnt deserve to be in there. None of them do. Seriously, what a mother would DO for her children. Please keep spreading the word, thank you and I love you all very much for all your support #bringthemhome #bringestherhome
