UPDATE: Kingwood robbery/shooting: Location: Hidden Valley Apts (behind Shipley Do-Nuts, near Cantrell/Mississippi) According to the police report and information provided to me by the mother of the male victim, a robber named James Bullock (BM, age 22, unknown address) armed with a handgun, attempted to rob a man out walking his dog at 7AM yesterday morning. The victim had previously lost his wallet and had nothing to steal so the robber forced him to return to the victims apartment. His girlfriend was home so the robber then demanded her wallet. He got it and was leaving with the male victim to go to an ATM to get money. At this time the female victim retrieved a handgun from her bedroom and the male victim tackled the robber just outside of the apartment in the parking lot. The men struggled for control of the robbers gun as the female approached with her own handgun. She fired two shots. One bullet hit the robber in the buttocks. The other shot hit her boyfriend in the arm and the robber in the face. This is when the robber decided to flee. He threw off his handgun and got into a white Toyota Solara and drove himself to the hospital where police caught up with him. The male victim with the gunshot wound to his arm was treated at St. Vincent initially, but his family moved him to a different hospital for surgery. Im told that the robber is in critical condition. I have no idea if this is the same suspect who robbed the people just down the street at Regions Bank ATM on Friday. I wish I had that info.
