UPDATE MRI RESULTS 10/1/14 Bit of a set back :/ As many of you know or have read from my story when I was thrown off (I didnt fall off lol) the horse I landed on my hip first. After 7 weeks I finally had to get a bit grumpy to push for an MRI of my hip as it has been very painful the more I walk. Last night I had my MRI and about 6 today I got the results...I was right!!!!! I have a hematoma deep inside my hip area and there is a tare in the cartilage that holds my hip joint in the socket. I was told the feeling of my hip coming out of socket was because it most likely was coming out every time I got moved (every 2 hours) At this point I now have to go see an orthopedic dr and possibly have surgery to repair it. Hopefully tomorrow we can get an appt for the hip. I pray it hasnt been trying to heal wrong as i dont have much flexibility in my hips to the sides which i need to ride a horse eeeek. THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS :) What I have learned from this (always find something positive from crummy situations) is no matter what a doctor says, be an advocate for yourself and sometimes you need to demand tests be done when they say no. Our body is a temple and we are the caretakers so if you think something is wrong go for what you believe in. Dont let someone else have the controls to your life, you make sure you are the only one controling your destiny.
