UPDATE: Mack is OUT OF SURGERY!! They finished up at about 745. They stabilized his spine. (because of the fracture) They found he does NOT have a slipped disc. Just the fracture. They got all the bone fragments out, the spinal cord is clear. The doctor is cautiously optimistic at this point. He had a wound on his rear end they had to clean out because of infection. He will have to go under in a few more days to have that sutured up. He will be closely monitored all night long. The surgeons have been wonderful! They had 3 surgeons in there after 7pm on a Friday for this special boy!! Keep those prayers up! They will update us in the morning!!!
