UPDATE March 17, 2014 Okay, here it is: the tests for the SPS systems have failed. In fact, in the process of trying to back things up, the Moodle software was corrupted and is now useless and has to be reloaded and over 250 test questions reloaded one at a time. The wiki pages worked great and continue to do so on both servers. The way things were going to be is a bit different than how they will be now. There will be no forum, but there will be a blog. It started out as the forum becoming corrupt in the backup processes, but then it was realized that forums are not the way people do things anymore. They became old technology as soon as Facebook and other social media came on the scene. First there were bulletin boards, then forums, and now social media. To pin SPS to a forum is a huge mistake--in the long run. Not to mention they are almost impossible to transfer from one server to another and if they grow big and then fail, everything is lost. This all sounds like terrible news. And it is, but it has lead to some realizations and some modifications to the online systems and business model that are far superior to what we were going to launch. As painful as all this is. It is far, far better to find out now than later. Its what the test was all about. SPS will not open 1 April. It will open 1 May, or thereabouts (+ or - a week depending on what astrological charts look like for that time period.) I cannot talk about what SPS is going to do. It is now become the biggest secret for me to keep. What we were going to do, we are still going to do. This extra month is for coding and programing only. It will be a great benefit to you all; that much I can assure you, and I appreciate you sticking with this group. There is no forum anymore. Dont even go to psychicseminary at this point. All there is there is the homepage. The links go nowhwere at this point. Right now, this group is the only SPS contact point. The good news is that when we open, we will be really ready to go. [facepalm] I just realized, Im going to have to re-shoot the video, too. Ugggggghhhh. Oh well. Better to wait and be perfect than to launch and break like the Obamacare website did. The words of this song have never been more apropos to me... youtu.be/TBCXWdL7Wb8?t=19s
