UPDATE: Now that the holidays are over and we are embarking on a brand new year, lets not forget all the Warriors still fighting for their lives. Men, women and especially our children, can not fight this beast we call cancer alone. Its a 24/7, 365 days a year battle...no matter where they may be in their individual fight. They need our love, our prayers, and most especially our support. Team Chelsey, this is Lily. She likes dance and drama. She also has been battling leukemia for a little while now at Nemours in Orlando. Shes had a rough couple weeks. Christmas in the hospital and a very scary New Years has made me think she could use a little extra prayer. Her counts havent been where they should be so next week her bone marrow will be checked. Lily isnt just one of the kids I follow on Facebook. Shes also a local Brevard county kid AND shes the niece of my work Bestie. Ive never met her parents and wasnt sure I should post anything about her. But this just shows that childhood cancer is not rare!!! It has touched all of us at some point in time. It has invaded my life more than I ever dreamed possible. Please help me say an extra little prayer for Lily and all our little fighters still battling... For Alex... For Ethan... For Kiera... For Desi... For Trevor... For Sophia... For Logan... For way too many children that should just be blessed with a normal, healthy childhood
