UPDATE ON ANNA: I logged on to Facebook and the love is more than overwhelming. The DeMatteos can not thank everyone enough for the concern, calls, food, prayers, offers, etc. We are blessed with a wonderful community. Anna is home and in a great deal of pain. The air bags on the car deployed and saved both she and Morgan Leigh Myers life. For this we thank God. However, the airbag did extensive damage to Annas eyes and she can not see very well. She is under the care of the Lions Club trauma ophthalmologist and we are hoping for the best. She is going to be reevaluated again today at 5pm and everyday for several days to ensure that everything is being done to regain her sight. She is bruised significantly but talking and walking. She enjoys hearing her phone dinging with updates and text, just remember she cant read them. When things settle down and she is able to have visitors we will let everyone know. For now continue to keep her in your prayers, and drive safely.
