UPDATE ON DAVID..... PRAYER FOR NOW IS FOR DAVID TO GAIN STRENGTH TO HELP IN RECOVERY Dr. Lowe just met with me to discuss next process for david. He took out some of staples in head and said brain looks soft and good the way its suppose to look. It looks like they will do a trach which is temporary but will help him to get over pneumonia and respiratory problems faster. That will not be for about 3 days. BUT THEY ARE STILL WEANING HIM OFF VENTILATOR NOW SO THERES A POSSIBILITY HE MAY NOT NEED TRACH IF HES STRONG ENOUGH TO COUGH UP SECRETIONS. Also hes going to be transferred in next few days to Harbor short term Hospital to continue his recovery. If he has trach they will do at bedside and will begin therapy. Cat scan continues to show improvement as does xrays. Dr Lowe is pleased with his recovery so far. Its going to be a long process of Rehabilitation Therapy and more surgery after brain completes healing process.
