UPDATE ON FORDHAM IN MINNESOTA Good news/Bad News Thank you all who have made donations to the Tibetan Terrier Health and Welfare Foundation (tibetanterriersfoundation.org/html/Donations.html) for Fordhams ongoing care. A huge shout out to Judy Harkess, Fordhams foster mom she is literally going above and beyond the call of duty in caring for this little man. The good news is we did an ultrasound and xrays today to see if anything else was going on in his little body other than the lyme, anaplasmosis and kidney infection - NOTHING!! While we are extremely relieved that it was all clear we are still very worried about him. Fordham has dropped over 7 pounds in a month - he is not eating regularly and needs to eat in order for the other ailments to clear up. We have tried everything from specialty dog foods, baby foods, home cooked meals, force feeding, you name it we tried it.....next step is a feeding tube but we really do not want to go down this route. It is a phenomenon that we cannot explain - while his bloodwork/urinalysis continues to improve - his is literally starving himself to death - could it be true depression on losing his owner? only he knows the answer. Please pray for this sweet little boy
