***UPDATE ON PAYTON*** Hello everyone. Last night (Saturday) Payton had a seizure while my sister and I were in the room. This was expected before now and she is being monitored and medicated for this. Today (Sunday) I was in the room when the neurosurgeon examined her. If I understood correctly, Paytons reflexes were good and her pupils are more reactive today than yesterday. The neurosurgeon said she was hopeful that the brain swelling has peaked and will now decrease. As of now, Payton is not sedated but is on a low level of pain medication. She is still on the ventilator but, in the coming days, weaning from this will occur, to determine if she is able to breathe on her own. She is still in critical condition and prayers are definitely still needed. Please continue to pray for Payton, Ronnis family, Lexi and the driver of the truck. May God bless each and every one of you for the prayers and the love you have so generously blanketed these families with. I will continue to update as I become aware. Thank you very much.
