UPDATE ON POSITIVE IMPACT OF KAJIRE WELL! From Jones, our primary village contact... As for the usage of water, this year has been a bit cool and its now that water pans are drying up. Cows from the neighboring village will start drinking from the well as from next week. All the same the water has brought a major impact in construction and as you can see from the photos, many people are making bricks to construct their houses something which was hard to do because of water scarcity. This has a positive impact on the environment for less number of trees are being used construction. There is also a rise in the number of trees being planted especially fruit trees because theirs assurance of the seedlings getting water during drought season.
