UPDATE ON SHOP AND SHELTER!! Our new Small Animal Supplies/Op - TopicsExpress

UPDATE ON SHOP AND SHELTER!! Our new Small Animal Supplies/Op Shop is open for business but just to take the edge off the excitement of opening, my nasty neighbour who has been complaining to council for over four years has outdone himself by getting the backing of a few other people in the street/area and employing the services of a solicitor to register an official complaint with my landlord. He neednt have bothered as I was moving soon anyway (but Im glad he wasted his time and money as he sure as hell has cost me plenty of both, not to mention the toll it has taken on my physical and mental health dealing with the fallout from his ridiculous complaints!) The upshot of this latest complaint has resulted in my giving four weeks notice at my current address which means the guinea pigs at least, and all shelter related items, have to be totally gone from the property by 18th Sept. When giving notice three weeks ago my intention was to also vacate the property but because of the time spent preparing the shop for opening theres little chance of me being able to move out at this stage. Theres also the slight problem of having nowhere to go as the house in Pimpama wont be ready for human habitation for at least three weeks. So whilst the shop is open, Ill be in and out for the next few days as I move all the piggies and almost nine years of accumulated shelter stuff off the property. My friend Richard will be in attendance at the shop and will be happy to attend to your needs as best he can, just dont ask him to clip your piggys nails ;) Just for your amusement, one of the neighbours favorite complaints is the guinea pigs are responsible for all the flies that buzz in and out of his and neighbouring properties. Well mate, I have news for you! This is Australia, the home of the cork-rimmed akubra hat! There were flies in Southport before I started the shelter and therell be flies long after all the piggies have gone!! And maybe your habit of regularly throwing raw animal flesh onto the backyard barby could account for some of your winged visitors!!
