UPDATE ON STEVE: OK, for those of you that did not know, last Wednesday my brother Steve was at work painting and came in contact with a live transformer that sent 5000 volts thru his body. He was rushed to Huntington Hospital then to the Grossman Burn Center. Because his heart was only working at 10% an angioplasty was done and the cardiologist determined his heart was only working at 10% because of the jolt and NOT because of any blockages. So unfortunately only time and rest and supervised exercise can heal the health of the heart. As for the burns, the burn doctor explained that his only concern were the burns where the electricity entered and exited his body (forearms).... Since Steve is an expert on skin graphs (motorcycle accidents/falls) the doctor said that in lieu of graphs and extending his hospital stay, he could go home tomorrow BUT he would have to be careful in keeping the wounds covered and would have a regiment of keeping the wounds clean and use this cream medication that fights the infection and helps the skin Heal. He’d also have to go in to have them monitored. WOOOOHOOOOO! Thank You GOD!!!! This was a close one! The Doctors cant explain how he physically walked into the office at work, on his own, with his body still smoking after being zapped!!!! They obviously don’t know My Mom! : ) Thank you for all your prayers, I will keep you updated! God is good!
