UPDATE: Ok, here goes, this is my last post for the evening unless something else needs to be noted. I need to breathe for a minute lol. Anyway, snow should begin tomorrow morning, light in nature as the storm transfers energy to the coast. Moderate snow will start after noon with 2-4 inches by dusk. Winds will pick up and will create blowing snow (which is why the blizzard warning goes into effect at 1pm). Snow will then continue to get heavy and just all out plaster Long Island all night, with 2 to locally 3 feet of snow. Why locally 3 feet and not everyone? It all depends on where the heaviest snow bands set up. Usually in a storm like this itll get either the city, nassau or suffolk. Depending on which model you want to believe it could be anyone! 2 feet is probably a safe bet though. Storm should be out of here by Tuesday evening. Make sure your cars are filled with gas, you have batteries, bread and milk 😉, bring your snow shovel inside so you can dig out, (shout out to my brother Greg for that idea), keep your phones plugged in and fully charged in case you lose power and just try and enjoy this monster of a storm!
