UPDATE: Our latest rescue, the little tabby with the funky legs - TopicsExpress

UPDATE: Our latest rescue, the little tabby with the funky legs has been named Gecko. Hes now home from the vet, and resting comfortably in this super soft furry bed. Hes been x-rayed and examined by the vet. His bones look fine but he has a lot of gravel in his huge wormy stomach, probably from licking up food off the ground. Hes been given some slippery elm to help that move along and has been wormed. He does have feeling in his legs - he can move them, and he wiggles when you scratch the base of his tail. The xrays have been sent to an orthopedic vet, so for now he rests in comfort while we await a call from the vet. He is a pretty happy camper - purrs when you scratch his chin or pet his head, so hes far from being very feral. Hes gotten this far in life (8-10 weeks) with his bandy legs, living under a deck with other feral cats, so were going to explore all avenues for this little guy. It;s not the first bandy legged kitten weve rescued - they have spunk and determination that rivals most other kittens. Donations are greatly appreciated at this time to help with Geckos medical bills! noboundariesanimalrescue.org/donate.html Welcome to No Boundaries, Gecko!
