UPDATE: So my son and his girlfriend took Xander back to the - TopicsExpress

UPDATE: So my son and his girlfriend took Xander back to the hospital this afternoon and he was given another ultra sound. Those results show that Xander has severe gastrointestinal issues as we knew and that the esophagus which is the tube that passes food and fluids thru to the stomach did not close properly while he was in utero so when he is drinking his formula, most of it is stopping in the middle of his chest area and not getting to his stomach like it normally would and in fact it is causing him to in a sense choke on his formula and that causes it to come back up instead of traveling to the stomach. Xander also has, as we knew, trachea malaysia which is descrbed as: Congenital weakness of the tracheal wall which occurs when the cartilage in the trachea fails to develop or mature in a timely manner, with ↓ rigidity Clinical Stridor, rattling breath that worsens with URIs; as the tracheal cartilage grows, noisy respirations and breathing difficulties recede. Xander is going to be facing several months of seeing doctors and specialists and may be requiring surgery as well. Although he does have some insurance there will still be some out of pocket expenses like gas to get to the several appointments, and costs for both medical visits and pharmaceutical needs that are not going to be covered by the insurance they have and he is also being put on special formula that runs almost $30 for a small can which even the WIC office said they do not cover. This is serious and in no way a joke. My grandson Xander James is 3 months old has had some serious health issues since birth, he has had breathing issues and severe gastrointestinal issues and not gaining weight. Today, FINALLY, he had 2 appointments at the hospital after the months our entire family has been telling them he is sick and nothing is going right for this child. My son and his fiancé took him to get the first ultrasound this morning and left the hospital thinking they would hear back from the doctor in a few days, well a police officer showed up at their door because they didnt have their right number and said that Xander is in serious condition and needs to get back to the hospital at 2pm for further testing. To top that off 2 days ago out of the blue, their landlord came to evict them because she is selling the house to her brother and they are about to be homeless with 2 babies, one sick; and she has the audacity to want her rent and late fees knowing this is all going on. I am setting up a fund to offset the cost of their medical bills and whatever they need to help them to be able to find housing before their deadline of September 5th; we need your help ASAP and anything you could donate to help us would be a blessing! Please share this and repost this baby needs our help and this family really needs some prayers and miracles! If you could please help I will be starting a fund for them and will be making 100% sure the this money is going for Xanders health issues and for their housing situation. You can send your donations to me c/o Joan Vargas 2045 3rd Ave #5 East Moline, IL 61244 I can not stress the immediate urgency on this so if you could help we would be so forever thankful and please pray pray pray!!!!! Thank you
