UPDATE: Sunni came out of surgery ok last night. There was a few surprises we were not prepared for. She came back with a silo-basically a bag holding her intestines. She has had one of these before which was a total nightmare. The plan is to put the intestines back in on Monday and close her up. So until then she is heavily sedated and intubated. She had a hole in her intestines which let 2 days of feedings out into her abdomen which also created gas that could not escape. They also removed her appendix and some adhesions. That is the brief synopsis. Her vitals are stable and she will hopefully be resting and about the same til after Mondays operation. Thank you for all the uplifting words, prayers, and support.
