***UPDATE*** Thank you to all those that helped give information regarding rescuing the baby swallow. Our hard work paid off, as you can see from the first clip they originally looked very ill, with maggot eggs in their mouths and ears.. (there were two, but sadly another died). We managed to remove these and as you can see, the little chap is looking a lot better! You may wonder, why all the effort? But after contacting a bird expert I found out that this particular type of swallow is endangered. Thanks to Sarah Tranter and her son who noticed the post, we were able to put the baby swallow back into a brooding nest which is attached to their house, this evening! (That nest was a lot higher than it looks) .. Job done! (Well done Alex and Ellie) :)
