UPDATE The Fishing Rights Allocation Process (FRAP) advert appearing on the DAFF website notifies the public that the Minister has extended the process for the distribution of fishing rights application forms. Forms can now be collected up until Friday the 6th of September 2013. Please note also that a formal Government Notice 36773 d/d 22 August 2013, in respect of the FRAP extensions has been issued. The extension of the submission dates is formally confirmed. Unless your distribution venue is Struisbaai, Umthatha or Port Edward, you have until Friday 4 October 2013 to submit your application. The last day for submission at the Struisbaai and Port Edward venues is Thursday 3 October 2012 and the last day for submission at the Umthatha venue is Friday 27 September 2013.
