*****UPDATE***** Yesterday was a very LONG apt and day!! Thanks to continued prayers and finally having a routine down port access was once again AWESOME..he even helped the nurse push the saline through-- seriously not sure you could pay me money to do that to myself!!! We waited awhile to see the doctor which ended up being a blessing in disguise as it gave Bailey even more time to hang out with Sienna!! Watching their little budding friendship melts me and seeing them both play Barbies, hug, hold hands, and giggle was just what the doctor ordered!!! After Sienna and her family left we actually were moved into their infusion room for chemo!! The rough drug that he gets comes with an IV steroid and IV zofran so he is hooked up for a bit before they can officially start the actual chemo!! Mason was in rare drugged up form and thought it was hilarious to see how fast he could run down the hallway with his IV tower as Mimi had an anxiety attack trying to keep up..I of course just watched and laughed- and took pictures lol!!! For the most part everything is going as planned and looking great...HOWEVER that droopy eyelid (masons left) is still having the doctor hesitate so they withheld the vincristine yesterday... please pray and pray that gets better as in 3 weeks it is a double dose and we really dont want to go too far off the chemo plan-- but I know the Lord has a better plan-- and I will continue to find peace in that!! Also once again Mason has shown none of the yucky side effects of the rough drug that causes nausea and vomitting..he was actually bouncing off the walls today!! Once again an answer to prayer!! Please continue to pray for our little man Evan in believing for a miracle as his family is waiting on results from recent surgery!!! And for our Sienna-- her numbers are down and she has to have a blood transfusion tomorrow!!! The power of a praying community is amazing and brings so much peace so please continue to pray!!!
