UPDATE from Erin Noe Another update on Sam: I took him into the vet today and they did another x Ray and confirmed pneumonia. It was smaller than on Monday so that is great news. He has an infected tooth that is believed to be the cause of the abscess and started the pneumonia. Once the pneumonia is gone, they will put him under to remove the tooth. Until then he will be on antibiotics (he already had 2 doses in the last week) and with the dose he got Monday returned him to his somewhat normal self. Watching the leaves outside and plopping over for belly rubs are back in his routine. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words for Sam and my family.
