UPDATE on Belov-ed Lady Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart~~ 4/16/14: Please Light Candles of Healing.... Thank-You Julie Epona~ A meeting was held yesterday with Morning Glory, her oncologist Dr. Bozdech, Oberon Zell, Gail Rainbow Salvador (daughter), Kirsten Johnsen (archivist), Don D. Davis (Patient Advocate), Cerridwen Fallingstar and maybe others Im forgetting. Please, those folks tagged herewith and who were present, add your additional information here. While MG has been fighting pneumonia her body was unable with withstand the rigors of chemo. Therefore, the cancer has made a horrible resurgence. A 9cm tumor has now appeared on her left hip. Dr. Bozdech has gotten MG approved to participate in a newly FDA-approved drug protocol which will begin later today. Dr. Bozdech says this is a very promising protocol for which we will have results in 2 weeks, when we will know if this is affective against MGs specific Multiple Myeloma. If it works, it will buy her several months. If this chemo fails, MG will have a limited time left on this plane. Morning Glory has agreed to begin using opiates for pain, which she is receiving on IV. When MGs pain level has been mitigated as best as can be done, she will then begin receiving time-release oral pain medication. Due to various CA hospital regulations, we are unable to bring Morning Glory home; day passes are no longer permitted at this hospital. This event will go forward as scheduled.
