UPDATE on Brenna: thank you for continual prayers, love, and support for our family. We had a long productive day. Bren had rehab and therapy this morning. This afternoon she had the feeding tube removed from her nose and placed in her stomach. The surgery got pushed back a couple of hours but all went well. Bren was resting when I left. She looks a little stronger today. I have been reading her the cards that have been sent and going to be taken some more in each day. I was listening to one of my favorite Mercy Me songs The Hurt & The Healer. One of the lines is Im alive even though a part of me just died. Something struck a cord in me when I heard that line. There are times that letting parts of you die is good. The selfishness in our hearts, old grudges, anxiety, fear, doubt, hate, and loneliness. Once those parts of us die new life is born into our souls. May you always feel alive in the presents of unthinkable fear. May good give you strength in the face of adversity. May you know that I will stand with you in prayer and love when facing illness and pains. Give to those less fortunate than I. Provide for the lonely through smiles and acceptance. Thank you for the prays of peace, strength, and understanding. God be with you.
