UPDATE: ...sigh... Yesterday was the contested dispositional hearing in the juvenile (cps) court. This was essentially the equivalent of a trial..sort of.. minus a jury, evidence, rules, threshold for claim, burden of proof and open to the public... so yeah, I guess it was a hearing of sorts. Babies not ordered home but were close. Today I am filled with gratitude and peace. The Lunar eclipse was soul refreshing and I am blessed with eyes to see it and a soul to feel it.
