UPS Class Tribute Francis Kenneth Danquah...hmmm. We, your classmates are overcome with emotions of grief today because your name brings up images of a fine gentleman; of a classmate who was always positive and full of smiles. The Lord took him too soon, leaving us this hurtful task of saying good bye. From the first time he came into our lives, it was obvious that we didnt know how or when it happened but what we are sure of is that you were our friend, purely because of your friendly affable nature. That wall flower that was always there, we should have appreciated you more. Francis was our ‘Sergeant’, a nickname we affectionately called him after he earned it in Ghanaian language class. Francis, you always knew more that you would say, and when u finally did, it was always difficult not to agree with your wisdom, hence the constant debates, some just couldnt understand your intellect. Your wise and insightful daily online post were always a joy to look forward to. Our beloved brother and friend was always true to his convictions; he would gladly and respectfully tell you what he believed and yet he will listen attentively to your side of the story. Why Arsenal, we never got to ask, but we bet you understood their struggle and their desire and strength never to quit. That’s who you were, sure of what u wanted and ever ready to put in the extra work and sacrifice to achieve it. There always was a plot behind your smile and laughter. We will indeed miss them the most. If ever there was a genuine friend, it would be you ‘Francis Preach Danquah’, because you shared yourself completely with us all and as much as we hate to say goodbye, we bid you peaceful rest, but we will hold on to all you have shared with us, and celebrate your life. For though you are no more with us, you will live forever in our hearts. We love you, our dear friend Francis.
