URBAN KRYPTONITE (African Roots... Foreign Diseases) examines the subject of health in the Urban and Black community from a lens never before used. In previous studies, we have used the worlds standards to identify the real problems with our rapid decline in health. The issue with this is that a generic approach will never solve a specific problem. Specific problems have to be approached with specific and meticulous gloves. In this case Urban Kryptonite is that glove. Many African Diasporas stand in unimaginable bewilderment trying to remedy the laundry list of health issues in the black community. As youth we are told that we are equal with all other races. Of course we are equal in that we are human beings. However, biologically speaking we dont share the same cellular make-up with any other race. Once you comprehend this concept you may then come to understand that studying nutritional or health based information from a generic sense may confuse you. It can provide us with a respectable base of intelligence from which to operate but at some point we would reach a conflict in the information because of our genealogy. The reason is that the information that you learn is not based on your biology. Urban Kryptonite is the only documentary film ever produced that supplies Africans, African Diasporas and the world at large with precise information as to what causes disease, why blacks are sick as a people and what we can do nutritionally to help remedy our situation .
