URGENT - UK USERS OF COMPASS If you log in and use the system with Firefox, the browser stores your username and password in an unencrypted format in the address bar (though not in the browsing history, apparently) You can check for yourself. The URL will look something like this [without the square brackets, and obviously Ive not posted my details - the stuff inside the square brackets will be YOUR username and password, not encrypted]: https://compass.scouts.org.uk/Login.ashx?ON=[00000000]&EM=Username@PW=Plain~text~pword9] Thats not a problem if you are the sole user of your computer or other device you are using, and your device is password protected, or you clear your browser history at the end of each session of use - but this could be an issue for some users.
