URGENT! A documentary titled: BREAKDOWN! New Mexico’s Behavioral Health Crisis will be aired on Sunday, October 12 at 1:30 pm on KOAT-TV, Channel 7. The half hour program is narrated by Steven Michael Quezada of “Breaking Bad”. It features the stories of families and individuals who have suffered service disruptions as the result of the shutdown of the majority of New Mexico’s Behavioral Health providers last year. The half hour program is sponsored by CHILE PAC (Concerned Hispanics Involved in Legislative Empowerment). The providers were shutdown by the Martinez Administration claiming they were guilty of fraudulent billing of approximately $36 million dollars. Arizona firms were called in to take over their operations. As of this date, no fraud has been uncovered, and the documentary claims hundreds of employees and thousands of clients have been affected. It also alleges the State has paid out over $27 million to transition the Arizona firms to New Mexico. CHILE PAC is engaged in a 33-county strategy to unite New Mexicos Indigenous and Hispanic peoples and others that share the desire to preserve the traditions, heritage, customs, values and Human Rights of New Mexico.
