URGENT: CALL FOR ATTENDEES AT REDDING CHAPTER MEETING WITH USFS SHASTA-TRINITY FOREST SUPERVISOR DAVE MEYERS, SUNDAY NOVEMBER 24, 1:00 PM -- RSVP NOW IF YOU CAN ATTEND November 20, 2013 ACL Redding Chapter Chairman Jaime Wagenfuhr offers us the following message: There have only been a few RSVPs for the November 24 special chapter meeting with new US Forest Service Supervisor Dave Meyers. While we realize that a Sunday afternoon chapter meeting is somewhat out of the ordinary(when we are not having a Christmas party), this was the only day and time available on Supervisor Meyers upcoming schedule, so we took it. Though we also realize we are asking you to take time out of your Sunday afternoon, we are hoping for as good attendance as possible to show the new Supervisor ACLs strong interest in making progress on US Forest Service timber sales, stewardships, and other projects. We are hoping for at least 30 attendees. All ACL members are invited, certainly from the Redding Chapter area, but also if you are in other regions and or have an interest in US Forest Service work. We sent flyers to the North Coast chapter because it is somewhat close to the Trinity area. You can also invite folks who arent loggers who might want to meet the supervisor.
