URGENT Minutes ago Rep. Curt Clawson tweeted that he would vote against Boehner for Speaker, bringing the public count to 11. One Republican member whipping votes for Louie Gohmert says that momentum is on our side: The currents are strong. Lots of leaners, they are really feeling the heat. Things are hot enough that Boehner and his leadership team are now personally reaching out to members, suggesting that they are starting to panic. We are likely at about 20 votes public and private, but we need at least 28. We need more public opposition tonight. Keep calling, Tweeting and posting! Its still a long shot but for conservative members on the fence, theres safety in numbers.
