URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: Please pray for a man I met tonight in the parking lot of Cracker Barrel. His name is Duane. He drove up to me as Hannah and I (and Alex) were leaving the restaurant and asked for assistance with gas to get back to Austin. We had him meet us at the Valero at 151 and Military to put gas in his car. He told me things were going rough for him: his wife had left him and he felt like he was reaching an end. As he finished pumping gas, I gave him my business card. He had no idea he was talking to a minister (something I pride myself on)! He said he felt like crying and that he needed direction. Turns out, he has a BA and MM in Trumpet Performance at UNT (which means he is a world-class musician). But I could tell God was really working with him. I told him to call me anytime he ever needed to talk. I am now asking you, Northwest Hills, to pray for Duane as he is on the road back to Austin. Pray that God would place another "minister-in-hiding" in his path that would water the seed that is already planted in his heart. I hope to be able to report to you about his decision for Christ; for now, lift him up in prayer and let the Holy Spirit do the rest! Bro. Reed
