URGENT PUBLIC MEETING - SADDLEWORTH PARISH COUNCIL - 7.30 MONDAY 26TH JANUARY 2015. ***** TIME FOR ACTION ***** Thank you all for the messages and emails asking how we can support SDAG and voice your deep anger with the way that this travesty of local democracy has been acted out by OMBC and local councillors (apart from Saddleworths independent councillors). You have been offered an olive branch by the EFA when they told Saddleworth Independent councillors, SDAG and local representatives on the 16th January 2015, that the school could still be built in Uppermill. To make that happen, we all have to act. BUT OUR ACTIONS MUST BE SEEN. OUR PRESENCE HAS TO BE FELT. At the most we have 3 MONTHS to really to get our message across. STAGE 1 - ACTION. It’s a year since the famous Saddleworth Parish Council meeting where the public turned up en masse and told local councillors to listen, instead of just talking amongst themselves. Well its time to do it again!. PLEASE TURN UP TO SADDLEWORTH PARISH MEETING THIS COMING MONDAY AT 7.30PM ON THE 26TH JANUARY 2015 AT THE CIVIC HALL UPPERMILL. WHERE A MOTION WILL BE PUT TO ALL LOCAL COUNCILLORS TO SUPPORT THE NEW SCHOOL BEING BUILT IN UPPERMILL. If you can make it, it would be great if you could email us at savediggleactiongroup@gmail or via Facebook just with a simple YES then numbers i.e YES 2 etc. So we can gauge the amount of people who can attend.
