She saw this dog on the side of the road on Sunday. The dog (havent been able to see if its a male or female) appears to be living in a run down shed and is very starved. From the pictures you can see that ribs and hips are very visible. My mom has been feeding the dog since Sunday and while he/she is now coming when my mom calls he/she will only approach the food bowl if my mom stays inside her car. My mom is going back a couple of times a day to try and gain the dogs trust in hopes of getting the dog to vet for some clearly needed care. My mom already has three dogs and is not able to keep this one. She doesnt want to take it to the Brenham shelter because she believes the dog will most likely be put down (especially in this condition). The dog has a beautiful face and besides being shy appears to be a sweetie. If you know of anyone who might be interested in adopting please let us know. jessicaevans23@gmail Thanks!
