URGENT +++ URGENT +++ via Sir-Hamish McTavish URGENT URGENT URGENT URGENT APPEAL youcaring/pet-expenses/saving-puppymill-westies/192076 We have been contacted by Westie Rescue South East who are trying to save 12 Westies on behalf of 5 rescues. They have asked for help to raise funds. The Westies are being sold at auction by commercial breeders. They are aged between puppy and 5 years old and 2 are pregnant. These auctions are a magnet for puppy mills owners who want to start up or want cheap dogs to improve their stock. These puppy mills keep the dogs in cramped, unhygienic and loveless conditions often without even basic medical care. They are used to produce endless puppies until their little bodies are wrecked and then they are disposed of (dont even ask!!) Much as it pains us to line the pockets of these sellers this is the only way to save these poor little souls from a life of further and worse misery. PLEASE please help by donating to our fundraiser. We are very short of time as the auction is this weekend so please give what you can and share this appeal far and wide.
