URJA - The Commerce Society of Sggscc takes initiative for helping the victims of Jammu & Kashmir catastrophic natural calamity where, ~Around 400 people have been killed so far. ~Over five lakh people are still stranded in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. ~People still marooned on rooftops, clinging to trees for days have been in dire need of water ,food & other basic necessities of life for having A LIFE. Isnt it a serious issue which calls for an awakening soul within all of us and joining hands and showcasing our unity for helping the ones who are in a dire need of it! We hereby sincerely request all of you with joined hands to kindly make a little effort at your end and join us for this cause. Following is a list of necessities we have made considering the present situation in the state- MEDICINES- ORS, crocin( paracetamol) , tetanus, injection, citrazin (anti-allergy), soframycin(skin wounds), injections/syringes, betadine, bandages, cotton, water purifying medicines(chlorine), sanitry napkins, ibrufen (combiflam), imodium (loose motions), nebules+nebulizer (asthma) FOOD- Rice, Pulses, Maggie, Biscuits, Baby Food, Water Bottles, Sugar, Salt Materials- Tarpaulin, Plastic sheets, Blankets, Torches, Batteries, Candles, Matchsticks, Ropes, Tents Clothes- New Undergarments (men, women & children), socks, winter clothes, towels We request you to donate as much as you can. The entire collection will be sent to J&K HOUSE CHANAKYAPURI which will further be sent to the ones who have been suffering the worst. You can submit your contribution at BEGGARS POINT, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce from MONDAY-WEDNESDAY @ 10:30am onwards.
