US Census Bureau report this week has economic data on power generation industry here. Turns out that companies that generate power from renewables have had 49% revenue increases from 2007-2012. And I bet the numbers keep rising... Renewables included: hydroelectric power generation, wind, geothermal, biomass, solar electric power generation and other electric power generation. During the same period overall power generation revenues *declined* 1.9% the report said-- meaning power from traditional energy sources is probably not as good for the bottom line as renewables. Maybe a chance for the market(s) to drive a positive change -- not climate change. Check out the PDF report here: census.gov/content/dam/Census/newsroom/releases/2014/cb14-204_graphic.pdf
