US Empire doesnt tolerate Haiti Haiti has had constant turmoil throughout its history but nothing has had the devastating effect on the lives of the Haitian people like the horrific earthquake that struck the country on January 12, 2010. The US has been meddling in Haitian affairs for years and uses aid as a political tool to bend countries like Haiti to their political will. Glen Ford from the Black Agenda says if a little black country stands up and says we want to be independent that represents a danger to the US Empire, not to be tolerated.
