US WEATHER: Heavy rain led to flooding in Long Island, New York, on the morning of August 13. According to the Weather Channel, several expressways, including parts of the Long Island Expressway, the Southern State Parkway, the Northern State Parkway, the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, the Sunrise Highway, Route 110, the Sagtikos Parkway and the Jericho Turnpike, were closed as a result. This video shows rushing flood waters flowing through the doorway of a business in the village of Brightwaters, New York.
