US has Long History of ‘Supporting Terrorism’ The idea of using “terrorists” to achieve political purposes was first created by CIA during the time of the Cold War. The world was separated into two camps: the Soviet Union and its allies (the first) and the Western powers and ‘militant radical Islam’ (the second). It wasn’t hard for the so called “radical Islam” to be with US in the same line, because simply, both of them have the same beliefs. They share the rule of doing ‘whatever’ it costs – killing, murdering, destroying - in order to achieve their own goals. That’s why people always say, being a radical Muslim doesn’t mean you’re a Muslim. During the 1970’s, CIA supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and get benefitted of that support as they wanted to keep Arab world away from the Soviets and Marxist ideology. In the same time, they backed up both Sarekat Islam in Indonesia and the Jamaat-e-Islami terror group in Pakistan. What about Al Qaeda? Let’s not forget that Osama Bin Laden was CIA agent. CIA was behind the rising of his terrorism organization in the 1980′s. During his interview in May 16, 2012 on Russia’s Channel One, the Turkish politician and former U.S. intelligence agent, Berkan Yashar, said that the Americans simply didn’t kill the leader of al-Qaeda! He talked about his meeting with Bin Laden in the early 90-ies in Chechnya, revealing many unexpected facts. Yashar wasn’t the only one who talked about Al Qaeda. The Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, also told the House of Commons that Al Qaeda “was unquestionably a product of Western intelligence agencies”. Quoting from The Guardian, Mr. Robin Cook said: “Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally the database, was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. Inexplicably, and with disastrous consequences, it never appears to have occurred to Washington that once Russia was out of the way, Bin Ladens organization would turn its attention to the west.”
