US stalls on military action in Syria to consult with congress. Is that a sign that the American string pullers are starting to listen to relevant parties, hopefully next are the UN, Syria, its own people and the rest of the world. What about the innocent people that die in the mean time that this decision making process is happening? Are they collateral damage or is worth sending in a "cowboy" to save immediate lives? And how effective is the United Nations at resolving world conflict? If countries are taking matters into their own hands. Would we be better or worse without them? Are we looking at another world peace organisational failure like 1930s League of Nations?
