“USAJobs: Application Do’s and Don’ts” Series Overview: This series of workshops represents a collaborative and strategic effort to ensure NCHHSTP staff are offered and receive appropriate training specific to career growth, and to help employees acquire a better work-life balance. The Learn@Lunch series is one of EVS logothe many steps in place to engage NCHHSTP’s workforce and are integral components of the NCHHSTP Strategic Plan 2010-2015. In addition, you will learn about the Do’s and Don’ts of applying for positions at CDC (internally) with examples of successful and unsuccessful outcomes. This session will also briefly cover how to use resume and cover letters, explain category ratings, and discuss the quality and speed of hiring and applicant notification.
