Fellow Democrats, let us explore the possibility of division of responsibilities between the various departments of the Nigeria Police Force given the fact that the Force has been incapacitated by lack of fund, equipment, honest and decent personnel. 1. Shall WE establish State Police Forces and Community Police Forces? 2. What are the advantages and disadvantages inherent in such set ups? 3. Cant WE learn from the experiences of the Met and the Divisional Police Forces in the UK? or learn from the US Police Forces systems and how they have been able to maintain internal peace and crime control?
