UTS: Executive Education and The Hub Sydney, supported by the City - TopicsExpress

UTS: Executive Education and The Hub Sydney, supported by the City of Sydney, have partnered to develop and deliver a pilot programme to investigate how best to support entrepreneurs in Sydney through education. As part of our UTS entrepreneur community, we wanted to let you know what we have planned! The pilot will take the form of a two-fold education offering; workshops and mentorship for Sydney based entrepreneurs. These will be designed to give tech and creative startups in the Sydney area a chance to access quality and relevant education and therefore nurture this growing entrepreneurial community. Fifty places are available in each of five, two-hour workshops between now and April. The workshops are only $20 each and entrepreneurs can sign up to one, or all five, depending where they need to develop their expertise. The workshops will look at the lean canvas principle, defining and attracting customers, identifying and exploiting your competitive advantage, funding, and building a team. If you know of anyone who would benefit from these workshops, or if you would like to enrol yourself then, please visit: hubsydney.eventbrite/ In addition, 12 entrepreneurs will be selected for a mentorship programme where they will be matched with seasoned entrepreneurs and PricewaterhouseCoopers consultants. To be notified when applications open, or for more details please reply to this email.
