We are expecting 300+ girls, so PLEASE be sure to ARRIVE ON TIME! All girls will follow the UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT signage along 37th Street to Healey Hall. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH SUNDAY DROP-OFFS WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE CENTER HOTEL LOCATED AT 3800 RESERVOIR ROAD NW, WASHINGTON, D.C. 20057. ARRIVAL TIME FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH is 8:30 AM. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! BOTH SATURDAY & SUNDAY DISMISSAL is at 6:30 PM. ALL GIRLS WILL BE PICKED UP AT HEALEY/GASTON HALL. Parents are NOT permitted to attend the Summit unless you are a Registered Volunteer. We encourage parents who are staying for the weekend to explore Washington, D.C. during this time. DRESS CODE: Dress comfortably; yet, appropriately. PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. On SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH, please wear WORKOUT CLOTHES and bring a change of clothes. The following items of clothing will not be permitted at the 5th Annual UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT for Girls (failure to adhere may result in dismissal from the Summit): Strapless Shirts Sheer Items of Clothing, i.e. Tights Midriff Tops Slumber Caps or Night Headwear Pajama Pants or Slippers Shorts & skirts can be worn, but they must end at least at the mid-thigh area. Keep personal belongings at home. ***Neither UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT, INC., nor Georgetown University will be held liable for any damages to or loss of any personal belongings.*** GIRLS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING SPENDING MONEY. THERE WILL BE AN EXPO WITH VENDORS DURING THE SUMMIT. PARENTS & FAMILIES ARE WELCOME (AND ENCOURAGED) TO ATTEND THE EXPAND YOUR WORLD EXPO ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2013 AT 1:30 PM IN THE GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY CONFERENCE CENTER HOTEL. RESPECT of all facilities, UYS staff, speakers, volunteers and participants is MANDATORY! They will be ZERO TOLERANCE for any violent, disturbing, disrespectful, insolent or disruptive behavior. Participants who violate this Zero Tolerance Ordinance will be immediately dismissed to parents/guardians and will forfeit their opportunity to participate in any future UYS sponsored or affiliated events. TRANSPORTATION. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT, INC. WILL NOT BE PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION TO GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY. For those traveling within Washington, D.C., there is a GUTS (Georgetown University Transportation System) bus that brings patrons to Georgetown University. For more information regarding location and schedules, please visit otm.georgetown.edu/guts/ If you are lodging at the Savoy Suites, there is a complimentary shuttle that will bring participants to and from Georgetown University. On Saturday morning, the shuttle will run from 8:30am - 9:45am to Georgetown University. The shuttle will pick-up participants on Saturday evening between 6:30pm - 7:30pm On Sunday morning ONLY, the shuttle will begin transporting participants at 7:00am - 8:30am.
