Ubah Hails Ex-Eagles For their exemplary display in the game against the Anambra All Stars team at the weekend, Labour Party’s governorship candidate in the November 16 election in Anambra State, Ifeanyi Ubah, has commended the former Super Eagles players for their efforts. The former stars, led by Austin Okocha defeated the Anambra team 6-3 at the Nanka Stadium. Ubah, who is a Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) youth ambassador noted that the stars showed the skills that endeared them to many lovers of the round leather game in their active days. He said he put the game together to show the youths of the state that they can become successful through sports. The business mogul/ politician enjoined the ex-internationals to always use their expertise to better humanity. Ubah further admitted that he was humbled that the players honoured his invitation. Some of the stars, while responding, said that they would continue to impact positively on the society using their God-given talents. Other activities lined-up for the sport week include refresher courses for the coaches in the state while the kids would also be taken through the rudiments of football by some of the stars. Former Super Eagles Head Coach, Samson Siasia, is expected to lead others coaches in the refresher course. The state’s coaches will be tutored in the latest coaching techniques while the students will get to meet the former stars. VOTE IFEANYI UBAH.
