Uber Rock Swamp Delta Review at Rebellion Punk Music Festival With only a few hours shut eye since we got here on Thursday Rebellion really is a full on experience and by the time I reach Sunday, it really is survival of the fittest and on this bright and breezy morning we cant get a cab for love nor money due to a fly-by of about a bazillion different war planes which meant that we had to hoof it to the Winter Gardens pretty sharpish for a date at the Pavilion with Swamp Delta. Now this may not be a band many readers will be familiar with but if I were to point out that Porkbeast was on guitar and the singer was none other than Ian Anderson (resplendent in an Uber Rock Is Killing Music T Shirt no less) both formerly of the parish of Crazyhead and on bass guitar was Rob Byker then maybe youll know that we were in good company. As the clued in gather for our Sunday sermon of glunk we are treated to some brand new tunes such as AC Delta and the groovy Sick Liver Blues but for this scribe it was simply ahem... amazing hearing Out On A Limb and the absolutely magical What Gives You The Idea That You’re So Amazing Baby. Yeah baby this duo didnt half still sound good belting out of the PA and more than justifying our (still relatively) early rise and everything was indeed groovy. I look forward to catching some more Swamp Delta because it was a fantastic way to open our final day at this years Rebellion. Thanks guys we appreciate it.
